Bay of Islands Resort

The Bay of Islands Resort is located 1.8km from the centre of Paihia, set in a quite residential cul-de-sac in park like grounds. The majority of our units are free standing cottages to create a quiet peaceful environment.

The property is only a two-minute walk away from Te Haumi Bay Beach, which is safe for family swimming and sunbathing. The town centre is a comfortable 15-minute walk around the waterfront, or 20 minutes over the hill. We also have extensive parking across site.

The property features a swimming pool for the enjoyment of our guests, a fully licensed seasonal restaurant, a booking office for the local tourist attractions, guest laundry and bar-b-que equipment for those late summer evenings in the “Winterless Far North”. All our rooms offer service on a three daily basis, ask us how it works.

For some people this may be a source of frustration, there is a policy for no pets, which may change once we have established further grounding.

Our check in time is 2.00pm on the day of arrival, and check out is at 10.00am on the morning of departure. Extra charges will apply outside these hours. Office hours: 8:00am till 7:00pm.
